To get back in shape faster and more efficiently, include interval exercise training in your workout routines.  Craig Ballantyne demonstrates different cardio Interval Training routines below.  The three interval exercise training videos below show:

  1.  Fat Loss Interval Training 
  2.  HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training Workouts 
  3.  Cardio Interval Training (phase 2)

As with any exercise program, check with your doctor first.  With interval exercise training it is especially important to get clearance from your physician before you begin because it can be more demanding on the heart.

 
 
 
 
These interval exercise training videos give you a fairly good idea of how to get started with your cardio intervals to get back in shape faster than with regular cardio.

You may also be interested in the Tabata Protocol, a very effective interval exercise training protocol: 20 sec work, 10 sec rest, repeated 7 to 8 times.
